[RIIM] What is the best way to know when a RIIM child node has been disconnected from the network?

The best way to automatically detect when a RIIM node goes offline would be to implement a “keep alive” message every 1 min or 5 mins or any time range you want. Then when this automatic message stops arriving, it would indicate the node is offline.
