We are looking for a talented and motivated professional to fill the role of:

 

Embedded Firmware (Software) Development Engineer for Wireless Communications Protocols

 

In this role you will be working with:

  • Development of radio protocols for RF modules in the 169 – 2450 MHz range.
  • Wireless communication protocols based on IEEE 802.15.4 for Industrial IoT.
  • Embedded microcontroller system programming, RTOS, C-programming, Linux.
  • Development of custom specific products and application specific solutions.

You should have:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in wireless communication protocol development.
  • A Master degree related to Embedded Systems, Firmware programming and RTOS, or
    Bachelor with relevant experience.
  • A passion for microcontroller programming (16/32 bit) and wireless communication.
  • Knowledge and experience with C, RTOS, IP communication, Linux, Cloud solutions.
  • Familiar with integrated development environments (IAR) for embedded firmware
    development, GIT repository and bug-tracking tools.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Have good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills and attentive to details and quality.
  • Result oriented, customer focus and service minded.

Technical Support Engineer for Wireless Communications Modules

 

In this role you will be working with:

  • First line technical support to key customers and distributors during in-design of modules.
  • RF modules in the 169 – 2450 MHz range with wireless communication protocols (IoT)
    such as Wireless M-Bus, IEEE 802.15.4, 6LoWPAN, Sigfox, ZigBee.
  • Debugging and testing of customer HW and SW.
  • Creating application notes and other technical documents to support customers.
  • Other technical tasks within RF HW design, PCB design, RF module quality assurance
    (SPC and root cause analysis).

You should have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, or relevant hands-on experience.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in electronics development or wireless communication.
  • Solid knowledge of microcontroller programming, wireless communication and RF
    circuits.
  • Other relevant experience is PCB design, RF HW design, antenna design, RF
    measurements, Python or LabView programming, QA methods and statistical analysis.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Have good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Result oriented, customer focus and service minded.
  • Have excellent time management skills and attentive to details and quality.

Test operator for Wireless Communications modules (full time or part time)

In this role you will be working with:

  • Operation of an Automatic Test Station (test robot used for volume production test).
  • Production test of RF modules in the 169 – 2450 MHz range.
  • Maintenance of the production equipment.
  • Following the quality procedures for the production test process.
  • The ATS is operated in 2 – 3 shifts per day (day / evening / night). This position is primarily
    for the evening shift (16:00 – 24:00), optionally in weekends. It can also be a part time job
    (30% – 60%) suitable for students. The job is very independent and needs a high degree of
    self-organization, attention to details and written procedures. You will be working in an ESD
    secured environment where special precaution must be taken with respect to static
    electricity.

You should be/have:

  • A technician in electronics, student under technical education, or relevant hands-on
    experience.
  • A bonus is experience in electronics production, or as a test operator.
  • Knowledge about quality assurance methods is a plus.
  • Have excellent time management skills, being attentive to details and quality.
  • Speak and understand English.
