[W-MBUS] I understood that RC1180 mbus3 is the RF module to attach with the meter to get the meter reading remotely. Can we attach this to all types of meters (existing meters)? Or it requires the meter to be replaced with a new one?

The module can be retrofit if there is plug in option on the meter. Optionally the module can be designed directly on your existing PCB inside the meter. The module has a UART interface, and we have developed a module with a pulse interface.
