[RC232] "I bought the RC1180RC232DK (USB). Need quickly connect both modules to RS232 lines, to made a wireless path between angle-sensor and test PC. The actuator should only send each packet (packet of 4x8 bit angle values) to connected PC. Always active after power-up. Is enough to disconnect the jumpers from/to Rx/Tx lines and connect the module direct to RS232 level shifter? (inverted?) "

Yes, you can remove the jumpers on P13 and connect a RS232 level converter directly to the RXT/TXD pins of the module (START bit low and STOP bit high). Board details in the kit User Manual

[RC232] Question regarding RC232 in Star mode (many to one). If more than node will transmit at same to central point – will RC232 protocol queue data somehow, or there will be collision or data will be lost?
