[RANGE] I have been tasked with finding out how far we can get with our RC1180-MBUS transceiver modules in its usual environments: cellars, street cabinets etc. I know this is highly dependent on the actual test setting, but maybe you can give me some general ideas about attenuation through the air, through outer and inner walls, ceilings, etc. ?

“we have done some testing with the RC1180-MBUS module. We did measure coverage in our 6 floor office building.
A reference sender was set up at ground floor and we did get coverage at all floor.
See attached document.

The building have concrete as separation between floors.
Metal cabinets are the worst I assume. Thin walls of wood or similar does attenuate some, but given that the total range between transmitter and receiver is no to large this should not be critical.
