Meet Radiocrafts at Enlit Europe 2024 in Milan, Italy on October 22nd – 24th! Schedule a meeting with us at booth number 5.K56!

Wireless M-Bus For Enlit 2024

At Enlit 2024, we will be showcasing our world-leading Wireless M-Bus modules optimized for Smart Metering and Industrial applications including:

  • Our latest state-of-the-art OMS compliant Wireless M-Bus modules, MBUS5, offering improved Wireless M-Bus performance
  • OMS compliant modules which are frequently used in Smart metering applications (433, 865, 868 MHz)
  • Ultra-narrowband 169 MHz modules for superior noise resilience, penetration properties, and long range for applications with devices in hard-to reach locations. This includes the Wize module.
  • MPC1 modules for pulse counting, alarm supervision, and transmission scheduling
  • MSM modules supporting intelligent sensor interfaces
  • Radiocrafts also offers design services where we customise radio modules to meet your unique requirements for easy integration into Smart Meters.

Radiocrafts has decades of experience working with top-tier companies in the Smart Metering industry, with an installation base of more than 3 million Wireless M-Bus modules.

At Enlit 2024 we will also be sharing our booth with the mioty alliance where we will be showcasing our mioty module. Radiocrafts is a member of the mioty Alliance, which is an association of companies working together to promote the ground-breaking mioty technology.

mioty is a low-power LPWAN protocol designed to have the best-in-class reliability and scalability of all available LPWAN technologies today to support massive industrial and commercial IoT deployments. mioty represents a new milestone in the pursuit for global scalability!

mioty is optimal for Smart Metering applications for various reasons:

  • The main data traffic in a Smart Metering application is meter data being sent up to the gateway which is what a mioty network is optimised for if you wish to scale it up to hundreds of thousands of devices.
  • Smart Metering often includes large numbers of devices, usually one per household, which in a city environment can be quite dense. Dense environments are an advantage for mioty as it benefits from unmatched robust communication. For example, mioty connected devices are completely unaffected by the interference in the radio spectrum caused from other LPWAN devices in the vacinity, including other mioty networks thanks to the unique Telegram Splitting technology. This high level of reliability enables up to 1 million mioty connected meters in a single network.
  • Smart Metering is a data critical application which requires a 99% successful data packet delivery rate or more to have a viable solution. This is easily supported by mioty.
  • Smart Metering projects also have a long operation lifetime requirement. mioty supports ultra low power consumption for battery operation such as in gas and water meters, easily reaching a battery lifetime of 15-20 years for long lasting projects.
