[TINYMESH] Certain data is priority, how can I quickly stop a busy network of nodes sending other data to stop while I poll for the important alarm data every 5 secs?

Polling is generally not a recommended communication strategy, as the poll packets will take up valuable bandwidth. Unless you have system constraints we are not aware of, I would strongly recommend a regime of automatically generated I’m Alive messages from the network devices.
