The ‘RF Bitrate’ parameter may be reduced, to increase the RF sensitivity of the device. But the effect of modifying the RF bitrate is not dramatic, and will slow down the data throughput in the system. An improvement in the link budget of 5dB may be expected by reducing the RF Bitrate to 19 kbps. Please note that the ‘RSSI Acceptance Level’ parameter should also be changed when ‘RF Bitrate’ is changed, to allow the module to utilize the improved sensitivity of the radio.
