This is achieved through the Wireless Mesh Modbus Extender which is supported by our wireless Sub-GHz mesh radio, RIIM. RIIM converts the Modbus RTU signal into a wireless Modbus signal while maintaining the standard Modbus protocol.

By using the RIIM radio to extend Modbus signals wirelessly, you can build a highly scalable network that supports reliable sensor data, low-latency actuator control, and long-range indoor coverage, all within a single wireless system. This makes it easy to expand your Modbus network across an entire skyscraper or outdoor solar field installation, supporting up to 700 devices with a data delivery rate of 99.99% or higher. Additionally, the Sub-GHz frequency ensures robust, long-range communication that can penetrate steel beams from a solar panel installation or reinforced concrete, reaching even the most challenging locations like basements or underground parking areas.
The Wireless Mesh Modbus Extender comes with DIN Rail housing for easy installation, connections to both the Modbus client and up to 32 Modbus servers.
Furthermore, it was designed to support applications that require low-latency control and high data capacity such as load control, EV charging, solar SCADA, inverter control, sub-metering and more.
