For ZigBee you get then with embedded ZigBee stack and a easy to use serial interface This version is called -ZNM (ZigBee Network module) For ZNM the application is in external host MCU.
If you want to develop the application inside the module you should use Z-Stack from Texas Instruments. A market leading ZigBee PRO stack.
