The interface to the module is standard UART, and Linux supports a UART via any COM-port, like RS232 or USB. In this case an external level-shifter will convert the RS232 or USB to UART. The demo kit comes with FTDI USB-UART chips, and there is USB drivers for Linux available from FTDI |
