[RC232] Is there any possibility to replace the 1780HP by a module certified for North America and with the same (or closed) range?

For the US market we recommend RC1290 as this has been RCC approved and costumer can reuse our FCC ID to reduce test cost. We may in future have available RC1790. This will have typ 6 dB better sensitivity but same max output power (-1 dBm) since FCC limits the output power to -1 dBm.
