[SIGFOX] Your spec sheet for RC1692HP-SIG has changed from VCC_PA to 3.6V maximum whene it was earlier 5V. What effect will this have?

“We are sorry the change from 5V to 3.6V supply voltage for RC1692HP was not explicitly mentioned in the PCN. The supply voltage is now the same for VCC and VCC_PA, simplifying the power supply design. The operating range is 2.8 to 3.6 V, and the absolute maximum rating is 3.8/3.7V. Therefore it is not advisable to use 5V, as this may permanently damage the device. We cannot guarantee the performance of the module if you use 5V.

We advise you to use the latest module revision for your product qualification; HW revision 2.10 or later. This got FW revision 2.00 or later. But not to do a firmware upgrade, as this could result in HW/FW mismatch of revisions and loosing calibration data, unique IDs and also void warranty.
