Wireless M-Bus Intelligent Sensor Interfacing and Pulse Counter Modules!

Radiocrafts has an impressive portfolio of Wireless M-Bus modules for Smart Metering and Wireless Sensor Networks  which will ensure standard-compliance, the flexibility to choose between modes and frequency bands, save you a lot of R&D investment, will take you fast to market, and are proven in quality.

Included in this portfolio are Radiocrafts’ Wireless M-Bus Sensor Interfacing Modules (MSM) and Radiocrafts’ Wireless M-Bus Pulse Counter modules (MPC).

Radiocrafts’ MSM modules are a series of RF modules with embedded application for reading and reporting sensors over a Wireless M-Bus network. There is no need to add an external microcontroller to read the sensors.

MSM sensor-interfacing RF networks are designed to:

  • Support Wireless Sensor Networks with a minimum of components in the BoM.
  • To be very low power.
  • To be very easy to implement.
  • To have long range, several kilometres for the 169 MHz module.

MSM products include:

  • RC1701HP-MSM – 169 MHz module providing very long range.
  • RC1880-MSM – 868 MHz module providing very low power.

We also have sensor interfacing modules for SIGFOX which you can read about here.

You can find documentation on the MSM modules including datasheets, user manuals, application notes and more, here.

Radiocrafts’ MPC modules contain an autonomous application for pulse counting, alarm supervision and transmission scheduling. The module is normally in sleep mode with ultra-low power consumption. A pulse-output from any meter is connected to the pulse input pin on the module. At a configurable input, the module wakes up and makes an RF transmission of the accumulated value. No extra microcontroller needed.

The MPC modules include:

  • RC1140-MPC1 – 433 MHz operation
  • RC1160-MPC1 – 868 MHz operation for Russia
  • RC1170-MPC1 – 865 MHz operation for India
  • RC1180-MPC1 – 868 MHz operation for Europe
  • RC1701HP-MPC1 – 169 MHz operation for Europe

You can find documentation on the MSM modules including datasheets, user manuals, application notes and more, here.
