[RC232] The MAX input power is 10dBm. What appen if the module receive a greater power? Just the signal make worse or the module could be damaged? In case could you suggest a protection circuit?

Strong signal will not damage the module, but the module is unable to receive stronger than saturation level given in the data sheet.
